Lowercase by Tony Kapel
We all know that one kid who is too rounded to solely hang with the hip-hop heads, whose sneakers are to worn in to pose with the fashionista sneaker heads, and who is known by every pot head and young inspiring musician of every sub culture imaginable in this simulated world. Who most likely ran around with big kids his whole life doing everything your Dad was to bitch to even try. If you don’t know a kid like that then you’d ought to meet Lowercase born into a rebel youth conglomerate made up of a coalescence of grunge, alternative rock & hip-hop. The youngest of the family tree curiously discovered his older sibling’s music collective, which changed his life forever. Influenced by those sent from a higher power to inspire, Lowercase, grew close to the legends of NaS, Black Thought, Common, The Pharcyde and Rza of the Wu-Tang Clan. To the average listener these were just rappers but they served as father figures to the developing youngster, later influencing him to begin to write his own personal legend. Now the young rapper, producer, music engineer, and full time student has created his own unadulterated style so un-fathered and honest as to the point if you were part of his story you where bound to be embarrassed because he was holding nothing back from the truth. If you’re to mature and sophisticated to hang out at one of Lowercase’s balcony sessions and talk local pussy and where to trip out next, then just play one of his latest tracks and reminisce on the days when you just didn’t give a fuck!
